There are so many historical parks and National museums in Thailand that are available as locations for film production. After a film permit has been approved by Thailand Film Office, you may also request Thailand Film Office to provide a co-operation letter addressed to Fine Arts Department requesting permission to film in historical parks and National museums.

The security deposit will be refunded within 3 business days following inspection, provided no archaeological sites are damaged.
Site for submitting approval request and fee payment
For Bangkok Metropolitan Region, approval requests should be submitted to the Office of Archaeology, the Fine Arts Department.
For other provinces, approval requests should be submitted to Regional Office of Fine Arts Department 1 – 12, historical park, or the National Museum in that province.
Noted: For archaeological sites like temples, the monks are the caretakers, and the abbot grants permission. Outside the temple, such as at piers, in communities, or public areas, permission is granted by the responsible agency.
