Foreign filmmaker working in Thailand must have a work permit issued by the Department of Employment. The local coordinator may be able to submit the form on your behalf, but the power of attorney needs to be granted. Please note that the crew needs to collect his/her work permit in person.
For working in Thailand not exceeding 15 days
the filmmaker needs to notify the Department of Employment for a Foreigner Commencing the Works. (WP. 34 form and WP. 36 form).
For working in Thailand more than 15 days,
the work permit is required (WP. 25 form and WP. 46 form).
