Thailand Film Office or TFO is under the Department of Tourism, Ministry of Tourism and Sports. TFO is the one and only government unit responsible for the foreign film production in Thailand.
Our Duty
Grant film permits for foreign film production and monitoring film shoots to ensure that they do not adversely affect Thailand’s image.
Promote Thailand as a premier destination for filming.
Provide various incentives to attract more foreign film production.
Integrate with related governmental agencies and private sectors in specifying measures that benefit foreign film production to ensure greater convenience, comfort and speed with great services.
